About the Role
Plantega is looking for a part-time Field Operations Coordinator (Independent Contractor) to support our in-store operations, marketing activations, and quality control efforts across NYC bodegas. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset to maintain the highest standards for Plantega’s presence in the city.
As an independent contractor, you will be responsible for completing specific operational and marketing tasks, reporting key insights, and ensuring our brand is well-represented at retail locations. This is a contract-based role, meaning you will work independently and be responsible for managing your own time while coordinating with Plantega’s team.
What You’ll Be Doing
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory counts, receive orders, and ensure proper placement of products in storage and deli displays.
Signage & Storage Checks: Regularly inspect in-store signage and storage conditions to ensure compliance with brand standards.
Field Marketing Support: Assist with marketing activations and events to drive Plantega’s visibility and engagement.
Quality Control: Conduct spot checks on grill menu items, monitor product quality, and track expiration dates to uphold food safety and freshness.
Reporting: Complete and file reports based on field observations and engagements, ensuring clear communication with the team.

Job Details
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee role (no benefits provided).
As a contractor, you are responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, and expenses.
