Plantega is on a mission to make better food effortlessly accessible through New York's iconic bodegas. We're looking for a reliable, self-motivated Field Operations Coordinator to help maintain our in-store presence, support marketing activations, and uphold brand standards across NYC bodega locations.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain accurate inventory counts, receive orders, and ensure proper product placement in storage and deli displays
Regularly inspect in-store signage and storage conditions to ensure compliance with brand standards
Assist with field marketing activations and events to drive Plantega's visibility and community engagement
Conduct spot checks on grill menu items, monitor product quality, and track expiration dates to uphold food safety and freshness
Complete and file field reports based on observations and engagements, keeping the team informed and aligned
Who You Are
Reliable and organized: punctual, detail-oriented, and accountable
A self-starter who can work independently without direct supervision
Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced startup environment where things move quickly
Ready to tackle challenges with resilience and a good sense of humor
Passionate about NYC and genuinely curious about its boroughs and communities
Preferred: comfortable speaking and understanding Spanish
Preferred: enthusiasm for plant-based food and an interest in how bodegas serve their communities
The Details
Contract Type: 1099 Independent Contractor -- this is not an employee role and no benefits are provided
As a contractor, you are responsible for managing your own taxes, insurance, and expenses
Hours: 10-20 hours per week; flexible schedule based on operational needs
Compensation: $22/hour
Location: NYC-based; regular travel across boroughs required
