About the Role

As Plantega’s Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission: making plant-based food effortlessly accessible via New York's iconic bodegas. Your strategic insights and execution will be vital in boosting Plantega's message, as we widen our reach throughout NYC (and beyond). What you’ll be doing:

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to align with our core objectives, prioritizing both digital platforms and in-field branding.

  • Social Media Management: Lead the social media team to drive organic engagement and followers through compelling content and community engagement across platforms, always keeping the brand voice in mind. Additionally, ensure an always-on, timely response to the social community.

  • Signage and Branding: Spearhead the creation and strategic placement of high-impact signage, ensuring brand consistency and heightened visibility at every touchpoint, from in-store placements to events.

  • Influencer Collaborations: Collaborate with the social media team to manage partnerships with influencers, artists, and community groups, ensuring consistent and impactful brand representation.

  • Events & Promotions: Lead and execute a plethora of Plantega events, ranging from product samplings to larger community-driven gatherings.

  • Digital Advertising: Design, launch, and optimize paid advertising campaigns across various online platforms to drive brand awareness and sales, closely tracking ROI and adjusting strategies as needed.

  • Performance Analytics: Analyze and interpret campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights to refine strategies for greater reach and engagement.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with other departments, especially the brand partnerships, operations and delivery leads, to ensure unified brand messages that resonate with our target audience.

  • Team Oversight: Manage employees and contractors involved in content creation, social media, event management, and design, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.

  • Trend Spotter: Always ahead of the curve, you have an innate ability to identify emerging cultural, social, and digital trends, integrating them seamlessly into marketing strategies to keep the brand relevant and innovative.

  • Data-Driven: Exceptional at dissecting large datasets, pinpointing insights, and tailoring strategies accordingly.

  • A Communicator: Proficient at articulating ideas and thrive in team-oriented settings.

  • Passionate: A good understanding of NYC bodega culture and fervent about the future trajectory of plant-based food.

  • Preferred: Possess previous experience or a solid understanding of the plant-based food sector.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: This position is based in NYC.

Experience level:

  • 3 - 5 years

Base Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,000 per year
